Job summary

PwC Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (Healthcare Focus) to lead development of ML and statistical models for healthcare problems, transforming data into actionable insights. You will mentor the data science team and collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.

You will promote best practices, stay current with ML advances, and contribute to healthcare revenue cycle projects across client engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science or a related quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).
• Solid grounding in statistical modeling, ML, and complex problem-solving techniques.
• Proven experience handling large, high-dimensional datasets and delivering actionable insights.
• Expertise with modern ML methods including Transformers and graph-based ML.
• Familiarity with causal inference and decision-focused modeling is a plus.
• Experience deploying models into production environments.
• Prior healthcare domain knowledge, especially revenue cycle, preferred.
