Job summary

PwC India is seeking a data engineering professional to design and build robust data infrastructure for client analytics. You will develop and optimize data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and ensure scalable processing using PySpark, Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.

The role requires 4–8 years of total experience, with deep expertise in Azure components and Python scripting. Certification DP-203 and Databricks Data Engineer is preferred.

Qualifications

Deep expertise with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Data Factory and Azure Fabric.
Proficiency in SQL databases and Synapse for data integration and transformation.
Strong Python scripting and PySpark capabilities for data engineering tasks.
Must be DP-203 Azure Data Engineer Associate certified and Databricks Certified Data Engineer.
Experience with source control tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Design and build data pipelines and data infrastructure for efficient processing.
Implement data integration, transformation, and quality controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions for clients.
Troubleshoot and debug data pipelines and performance issues.
Write complex PySpark queries for data analysis and insights.

Must have:

Candidates with minimum3years of relevant experience for4 - 8years of total experience.
Deepexpertisewith technologies such as Datafactory , Data Bricks (Advanced), Azure Fabric,SQLDB (writing complex Stored Procedures), Synapse, Python scripting (mandatory),Pysparkscripting, Azure Analysis Services.
Must be certified with DP 203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate), Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional (Architect / Managerial level)
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Proven experience in working source control technologies (such as GITHUB, Azure DevOps), build and release pipelines.
Experience in writing complexPySparkqueries to perform data analysis.
