Job summary

PwC India is seeking a seasoned SAP SD professional for Advisory practice. You will specialise in SAP SD / S4HANA Logistics, handling installation, configuration, administration, development, and support to optimise client processes and integrations.

In this Manager level role, you will engage with stakeholders across Engineering and business units, ensure QA, write technical specs, and contribute to transformation projects while mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience in SAP SD (SD/HANA Sales certification preferred).
• Knowledge of inquiries, quotes, sales orders, consignment contracts, scheduling agreements and related SD processes.
• Strong integration experience with MM and FI modules.
• Ability to gather business requirements and produce detailed designs/specifications for development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in SAP SD / S4HANA Logistics operations in day‑to‑day support.
• Liaise with Engineering, Business Users and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure QA and documentation of issues with thorough analysis.
• Support release and change management processes and ongoing improvements.
• Stay current on SAP features, best practices and enterprise-scale implementations.

Job Description & Summary: We are looking for a seasoned SAP SD

Responsibilities

Mandatory skill sets

• Provide expertise in assisting business and end users for day-to-day operations primarily in SAP SD / S4HANA Logistics and front-end technologies
• Good understanding of Business and process analysis
• Liaising with stakeholders from Engineering, Business Users, customer support teams and other cross functional teams
• Quality Assurance & Documentation of issues with great detail and analysis
• Flexibility to work on new areas is a must
• Working Knowledge of ABAP Debugging is must
• Working knowledge of Reports, Module Pool, Sap Scripts, Forms, ALV Reports, ALE/IDOC, service gateway / integrations, BADIs, BAPI's, SAP Queries, Object Oriented programming (WRICEFS)
• Understanding of release and change management process

Preferred skill sets

• At least 8 years of Genuine IT experience in SAP SD (SD / HANA Sales certification preferred)
• Should be well versed with Inquiries, Quotes, Sales Orders, Sales Return, Consignment Contract, Scheduling Agreements, Credit Debit Memo requests, Rush Orders Cash Sales, Back Orders etc.
• Good understanding of the integration & exposure with MM and FI modules.
• Knowledge of integration between SAP and non-SAP external systems (EDI), ALE, IDOC's, rest API's).
• Experience of operating in a large enterprise landscape spanning SAP, middleware and other systems.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, knowledge article creation.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills is a Must
• Excellent communication and problem solving (troubleshooting, debugging, monitoring tools, queries) skills.
• Identify issue patterns and drive continuous improvement ideas to avoid repetitive issues.
• Desirable working with Service now, JIRA and commendable knowledge on Incident management, Problem management.
• Contribute to success metrics and regularly evaluate and adjust execution strategy to achieve the success measures.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Understand Business flows and able to articulate well on scenarios that he/she worked.
• Must be able to debug an issue and communicate back to the core team to investigate further.
• Ability to think Critically and execute with right actions to avoid impact to client Business.
• Knowledge on GTS/BIS is added advantage
