Job summary

PwC India in Gurgaon is hiring an experienced Advisory Manager to lead data governance and analytics engagements. You will shape data strategy, implement enterprise data platforms, and work with clients to translate business needs into practical data solutions.

Requirements include 10–12 years in data governance or related roles, hands-on experience with DG platforms (Collibra, Purview, Alation, etc.), and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Job Description & Summary

• Responsibilities: Experience: 10-12 years Role level: Manager Required Experience and Skills 8-10 years of experience in Data Governance, data management, data consulting, enterprise data platforms, or related product roles. Strong experience in large scale and end to end implementation of at least one DG platform like as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Atlan, IBM Knowledge Catalog etc. Strong understanding of Data Governance operating models, roles, policies, processes, controls, and enabling technology. Hands-on assessment, implementation, product-management, or advisory experience with one or more major Data Governance platforms.
• Mandatory skill sets Experience conducting product/tool evaluations, capability assessments, maturity assessments, or vendor selections. Demonstrated ability to translate stakeholder needs into capabilities, requirements, epics, and an actionable roadmap. Working knowledge of metadata, lineage, data quality, privacy, security, cloud data platforms, integration patterns, and APIs. Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and executive communication skills. Ability to balance strategic ambition with delivery feasibility and architectural constraints. Experience leading small consulting or cross-functional teams and independently owning senior-client conversations.
