Job summary

PwC in India seeks an Associate level accounting professional to support capital markets accounting advisory services across deals, restructurings, and other transformational events. The role focuses on technical accounting, financial reporting, and advisory support to clients in both public and private sectors.

The position involves end-to-end bookkeeping, statutory compliance including GST and TDS, and finalization of accounts with detailed schedules under GAAP.

Qualifications

• CA with 1–2 years of experience OR CA Inter/Final with 6–9 years of experience.
• Chartered Accountant Diploma mentioned in education/qualification sections.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and performing detailed ledger reviews.
• Month-end closing activities, MIS, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, reconciliation reports, and variance analysis.
• Reconcilations: prepaid, unbilled, unaccrued expenses, provisions, accruals; processing PO and non-PO invoices.
• End-to-end bookkeeping, vendor reconciliation, payments, fixed asset accounting, Forex, intercompany reconciliation, staff reimbursements, bank reconciliations.
• Finalization of accounts, drafting financial statements with schedules per GAAP, preparing audit schedules and reconciliations.
• Quality checks of financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Knowledge of TDS, GST, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and 26AS reconciliation.
• AP & AR aging reports for working capital and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and performing detailed ledger reviews.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end closing activities, including preparation of MIS, Balance Sheet (BS), Profit & Loss (PL), reconciliation reports, and variance analysis.
• Expertise in performing reconciliations such as prepaid, unbilled, unaccrued expenses, provisions, accruals, and processing PO and Non‑PO based invoices
• Handling end‑to‑end bookkeeping, vendor reconciliation, payments, fixed asset accounting (including schedules & depreciation),Forex, intercompany reconciliation, staff reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for finalization of accounts, drafting financial statements with schedules as per GAAP, and preparing detailed audit schedules and reconciliations.
• Performed Quality checks and reviews of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of TDS, GST, and other statutory compliances, including GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, and GSTR‑2B and 26AS reconciliation.
• Preparing and analyzing AP & AR aging reports to support working capital and risk management.
