Job summary

PwC is seeking an SAP MDG Technical Consultant to design, build, and maintain master data governance solutions across Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance domains. You will implement MDG models, BRF+, workflows, and integrate with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.

The role requires 4–8 years of experience, ABAP, MDG data models, BRF+, IDOC, BAPI, RFCs, and a Graduate Engineer or MBA background. Certifications in SAP MDG are a plus; India-based candidates encouraged.

Job Description & Summary

An SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Technical Consultant designs, builds, and maintains master data governance solutions across domains like Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Customization: Extend and enhance standard MDG data models, entities, attributes, and relationships in the ABAP Data Dictionary.
• UI Configuration: Customize user interfaces using Floorplan Manager (FPM), Web Dynpro, and SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Workflows & Business Rules: Configure governance workflows and implement custom validations and derivations using BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus)
• Data Replication & Integration: Manage data replication and distribution via Data Replication Framework (DRF), ALE, and IDocs/AIF to connected SAP S/4HANA, ECC, or non-SAP systems
• Data Migration: Build and support mass data load programs, data migration tools, and initial data conversions.
