Job summary

PwC is seeking an SAP ABAP Senior Associate to join the advisory line, delivering ABAP development across ECC and S/4HANA. You will design, build, and test RICEF objects, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding standards while collaborating with functional teams.

The role demands hands-on delivery, knowledge of CDS views, AMDP, OData, Fiori, and integration with BAPIs/IDocs. You will work within PwC's delivery centre to optimize performance and contribute to client solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP ABAP development with 4–7 years of experience.
• Strong classical ABAP knowledge (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows).
• Experience with modern ABAP on HANA concepts (CDS, AMDP, OData, RAP) and SAP BTP/Fiori.
• Familiar with integration technologies (BAPIs, IDocs, RFC, Web Services).
• Knowledge of performance analysis and tuning tools (ST05, ST12, SCI).

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior team members and enforce coding standards.

Job Summary-

The SAP ABAP Senior Associate will play a key role in the SAP delivery centre, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of SAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments. This role requires strong hands‑on technical expertise, the ability to work independently on complex development tasks, and collaboration with functional and technical teams. The Senior Associate will also mentor junior associates, ensure adherence to coding standards, and support performance optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• RICEF Development & Delivery
  Design, develop, and maintain RICEF objects including Reports (ALV/Classical), Interfaces (ALE/IDoc, BAPI), Conversions (LSMW/BDC), Enhancements (User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Spots, BTE), RAP and Forms (SAPScript,Smartforms, Adobe Forms). Deliver ABAP objects independently and ensure quality through peer reviews.
• Advanced ABAP & Object‑Oriented Programming
  Work with Object‑Oriented ABAP, Workflow, Data Dictionary objects, and Search Helps to build scalable solutions.
  Apply modular and reusable coding practices for maintainability.
• Niche Technology Expertise
  Contribute to projects using at least one specialized ABAP technology such as Web Dynpro, Workflow, OData services, SAP-BTP, SAP-CPI/PO, SAPFIori, SF-HR-ABAP.
  Support integrationscenariosleveragingthese niche skills.
• SAP HANA & Modern ABAP Exposure
  Gain hands‑on experience with CDS Views and AMDPs for optimized data modelling and performance.
  Collaborate on UI5/Fiori‑related developments and extensions.
• Business Requirement Mapping
  Translate client business requirements into technical specifications and develop necessary modifications to meetobjectives.
  Work closely with functional consultants to understand business processes from a customer perspective.

• Quality Assurance & Standards
  Perform peer reviews of ABAP code to ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
