PwC India is seeking an Associate for Advisory with Oracle integration expertise. You will implement and manage Oracle cloud solutions, focusing on DBCS on OCI, integrations, and data security. The role requires hands-on experience with OIC Gen 2/3 and Oracle DB Cloud services.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Oracle integration and cloud platforms.
• Bachelor Degree; B.Tech/M.Tech/BCA/MCA.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL with Linux/Unix shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and scale Oracle DBCS and OCI resources.
• Manage automated patching, backups, point-in-time recovery, and performance scaling.
• Implement OCI security lists, NSGs, encryption at rest and in transit.
• Configure Data Guard, RAC, and disaster recovery for DBCS.
• Design end-to-end integrations connecting Oracle ERP Cloud, third‑party SaaS and on‑prem systems.
• Build and manage REST/SOAP APIs, certificates, and secure payloads.
• Monitor DBs and CI/CD pipelines for provisioning via Terraform/OCI CLI.

You will be responsible for tasks such as installation, configuration, administration, development, and support of Oracle products and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Database Provisioning: Deploy, configure, and scale Oracle DBCS instances (Bare Metal, Virtual Machine, and Exadata) on OCI.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage automated patching, regular backups, point-in-time recovery, and performance scaling.
• Security & Compliance: Implement OCI security lists, Network Security Groups (NSGs), data encryption at rest (TDE), and in transit.
• High Availability: Configure and maintain Oracle Data Guard, Real Application Clusters (RAC), and disaster recovery setups in DBCS.
• Integration Design: Build end-to-end integrations (App-driven and Scheduled orchestration) connecting Oracle ERP Cloud, third-party SaaS, and on-premise systems.
• Adapter Configuration: Expertly utilize native OIC adapters including REST, SOAP, ERP Cloud, Database, FTP, and Salesforce.
• Data Mapping: Author complex data mappings, XSLT transformations, lookups, and error-handling frameworks.
• API Management: Design and secure REST APIs, manage connection certificates, and handle payload payloads securely.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Set up OIC dashboard tracking, database alerts, and OCI monitoring metrics for proactive failure detection.
• SQL/PLSQL Tuning: Optimize database objects, stored procedures, packages, and triggers interacting with the integration layer.
• DevOps Automation: Work with CI/CD tools, Terraform, or OCI CLI to automate provisioning and deployment pipelines.

• Core Platform Knowledge: Deep technical hands‑on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Gen 2 / Gen 3 and Oracle DBCS.
