Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Pune, India, is hiring a Implementation Specialist II to join a dynamic, customer-facing team. You will configure deployments, work with customers to derive real value, and collaborate with Product Development to deliver robust SaaS-based solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in J2EE/Java with N-Tier architectures, strong SQL/NoSQL skills, and the ability to create clear requirements and design docs. Based in Pune with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with J2EE/Java and N-Tier architectures using RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Experience writing SQL and understanding relational, NoSQL, and dimensional modelling.
• Experience creating requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
• Ideally participated in Design or Implementation of a SaaS product.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation from a configuration perspective.
• Engage with the customer to derive value using the product.
• Prepare functional and technical specification documents.
• Collaborate with Product Development to deliver agreed requirements.
• Research the current application to identify areas for improvement.
• Generate and implement test scripts for unit testing and ensure the system operates optimally.
• Potentially lead a team of implementation specialists for smoother deployments.
• Build processes to implement product solutions quickly and efficiently.
• Minimum 3 years in J2EE/Java and N-Tier architectures.

What We're Looking For:

Implementation Specialist II

Responsibility:

• Candidate will have real-world experience working with J2EE/Java and N-Tier architectures using various technologies like RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Strong communication skills will be critical along with the ability to problem-solve to help produce great results.
• Experience of SQL writing with sound understanding and foundation of both relational, NoSQL and dimensional modelling techniques will also be a benefit.
• Proven experience in the creation of requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
• Ideally, you will have participated in the Design or Implementation Phase of a SaaS product.
• Skills to work in a rapidly-changing environment with shifting priorities, and demonstrate the ability to meet urgent operational deadlines.
• Skills to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
• Skills to work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
• Experience in configuring web applications preferably WFM, T&A & Task Manager solutions.

Responsibilities will also include

• Participate in the implementation from a configuration perspective.
• Engage with the customer extensively to derive the value for them by using the product.
• Prepare functional and technical specification documents.
• Engage and interact with various Product Development teams to deliver agreed requirements.
• Researching and examining the current application and finding out the scope for improvements.
• Generate and implement test scripts for unit testing the software piece. Testing and modifying systems to ensure that they operate optimally.
• Potentially lead a team of implementation Speialists for effective/smoother implementations
• Build strategies/processes to implement product solutions quickly & efficiently
• At least 3 Years into working with J2EE/Java and N-Tier architectures using various technologies like RDBMS and NoSQL.
• B.E./B. Tech degree (Full Time).
• Candidate should be based in Pune location Only.
