Job summary

Continental Industry is seeking an experienced SAP Rollout Lead to drive rollout activities for SAP PP across a defined location. You will manage data migration, cutover planning and Go‑Live support, coordinating with local key users, the location lead, and IT teams.

Fluent English and extensive multinational experience are required. The role involves cross-functional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing knowledge management within ContiTech environments.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years in SAP environment for at least one relevant SAP module.
• Minimum 3 years in a multinational environment.
• Experience delivering at least one global or regional project.
• Experience leading change and communicating across diverse teams.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Applies concepts for a proper SAP rollout.
• Implements SAP PP as a project team member, attends design, test, and Go-Live support sessions.
• Ensures proper Kick Off, FitToTemplate and Test Sessions for the respective SAP Module.
• Single point of contact (SPOC) for all Data Migration questions for the respective SAP Module.
• Drives CutOver Planning and Go-Live readiness.
• Coordinates and communicates with local teams and stakeholders.
• Acts as ambassador for the IMp@CT Team and ensures knowledge transfer to local users.
• Mentors Local key Users and balances workload.
• Identifies major stakeholders and maintains ongoing exchange.
• Serves as SPOC for local tasks.
• Refreshes SAP standards knowledge and uses lessons learned.
• Coordinates train-the-trainer concepts.
• Defines Best Of Standard SAP processes and relevant SAP Fiori apps.
• Advises plant on SAP S4 rollout questions.
• Documents SAP rollout activities.
• Guides local team through KickOff to HyperCare.
• Refreshes IT Roadmap knowledge and ensures prioritized projects are realized.

Job Description

Main tasks:

• Coordinates & Drives all rollout-relevant activities for the SAP PP module for a defined rollout location
• Assures an efficient and compliant rollout at the site for the SAP module.
• Drives Kick-Off, Fit To Template, and System-Test sessions in the plant locations and ensures proper & fast handling of all findings/missing features.
• Operates JIRA to steer the development of the referring IT teams and writes the story to define the Business Requirements.
• Coordinates Data Migration actions to meet the System-Test schedule and validates migrated Data in the Test & Productive Systems.
• Creates and executes independently the Cutover Plan before Go-Live and organizes Post Go-Live activities for the respective SAP Module.
• Establish a constant exchange between the local Key-, Power Users, and the Location Lead.
• Trains the Local Key Users including building up training plans for end users/power users.
• Coordinates a rollout of CT tools (QDA, etc.) in close exchange with the BA-, Country, and Location teams for the respective SAP stream / SAP module.
• Substitutes/represents the Rollout Lead on request.
• Gains full process overview for respective SAP modules including good know-how for other SAP modules.

Qualifications

• Academic Degree as an Industrial Engineer, Business Manager, or comparable experience through several years of practical work.
• Minimum 7 years in SAP environment for at least one relevant SAP module.
• Minimum 3 years in a multinational environment.
• Successful realization of at least one global/regional project.

Business Consulting

• Consulting to define the Best Of Standard SAP Business Process and referring Transactions & SAP Fiori Apps for a Product Group per Region.
• Supporting and consulting the local plant in questions or problems related to the SAP S4 rollout
• Acts as primary contact for SAP rollout related questions
• Ensures documentation of SAP rollout activities
• Guides the local team during all project phases (KickOff - HyperCare)

IT Strategy

• Ongoing refresh of own knowledge about the IT Roadmap.
• Ensures realization of prioritized projects according to the IT Roadmap.
