Job summary

Idiada Automotive Technology is seeking a CAE Engineer with 2+ years of full-vehicle impact/crash and occupant protection experience. You will lead simulation activities, coordinate with clients, and mentor a small team to ensure timely, high-quality results.

Proficiency in LS-DYNA, ANSA/Hypermesh, Meta-Post and MS Office is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to drive solutions are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CAE for full vehicle impact/crash and occupant protection.
• Proficient in CAE tools including LS-DYNA, ANSA/Hypermesh, Meta-Post and MS Office.
• Ability to lead a small team and manage client communications.

Immediate opportunity for CAE Engineer CAE with minimum 2+ full vehicle impact / crash experience / Occupant protection

Experience:

• 2+ Years

• LS-DYNA , ANSA/Hypermesh ,Meta-Post, MS-Office

Main Responsibilities:

• Communicate with client for day to day simulation activities and manage activities and deliveries independently
• Lead a small team to execute tasks & deliver as per client requirements
• To meet the customers expectations of quality and schedule.
• Able to provide structural design countermeasure , solution to meet project target
• Report / summary preparation and Presentation of result to client and involvement in decision making for any countermeasure to meet project target
• Lead a team of engineers; Mentor & support team members to improve competency.

Requirements:

• Preferred to have experience in CAE with full vehicle impact / crash experience / Occupant protection
• Good Knowledge to full vehicle and all sub assemblies.
• Proficient in ANSA / Metapost,LS-DYNA
• Should have hands on experience and should be able to perform Impact load case for various regulations
• Exposure to ODB impact / full frontal Impact /Side MDB impact / Side Pole Impact / Roof Crush etc would be added advantage
• Should be proficient in Analysis , predication and presentation of results
• Ability to perform correlation of CAE simulation with test
• Exposure to automation of tasks desirable.
• Able to analyze full vehicle impact load - cases and able to give design suggestion.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, self-starter and skilled individual with strong demonstrated leadership and technical problem solving skills
• Ability to establish a systems engineering approach to solving problems
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
