Job summary

Tranzeal is seeking a data scientist with 4–6 years in IT and at least 3+ years in data science to design and deploy deep learning models for computer vision tasks. You will work with Python and DL frameworks, and use Databricks, MLflow, and Delta Lake to scale ML workflows.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and hands-on cloud experience. Four days a week WFO at ITPL in Bengaluru, with an in-person final interview process.

Qualifications

Job description

Experience:

• 4- 6 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in data science
• Proven experience in designing and deploying deep learning models, particularly in computer vision applications such as image classification, object detection, segmentation, and video analytics.

Technical Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Familiarity with Databricks notebooks, MLflow, and Delta Lake for scalable machine learning workflows.
• Experience with MLOps best practices, including model versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment.
• Proficiency in data preprocessing, augmentation, and handling large-scale image/video datasets.
• Solid understanding of computer vision algorithms, including CNNs, transfer learning, and transformer-based vision models (e.g., ViT).
• Exposure to natural language processing (NLP) techniques is a plus.

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Strong expertise in Azure cloud ecosystem,
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments and using command-line tools for automation and scripting.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skillsinterpersonal, written, visual (presentations), and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.

Important:

Candidates must be comfortable with 4 days WFO at ITPL and attending the in-person final interview
