Job summary

Crisil is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality outcomes in a regulated banking environment. The role requires strong understanding of Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office banking domains to align technology solutions with real business workflows.

You will design Java-based microservices and REST APIs, build scalable backend services, and contribute to CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines. Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and Python with Spark is required across distributed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• 5–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably in banking or regulated financial services.
• Deep expertise in Java, SpringBoot, PostgreSQL, REST APIs and orchestration.
• Proven experience with Apache Spark, Python data pipelines.
• Cloud experience across AWS/Azure/GCP and strong FO/MO/BO domain awareness.

• Poven experience in Apache Spark with data pipeline in Python
• Hands-on experience building middle tier core Java services
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office banking processes.
