Job summary

Purview Services in India is seeking an IDAM Architect AI to lead the architecture and governance of AI-powered IAM tooling. You will design standards and reusable integration patterns for copilots and tools across IAM platforms.

You will ensure secure, scalable deployment of AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, Claude, and Mistral-based solutions) and align with security policies, enterprise architecture, and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Identity & Access Management (IAM) expertise
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0
• Hands-on with AI developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Gemini, Claude)
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI workflows
• Security architecture and DevSecOps background
• Experience with API security, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Proven enterprise architecture and solution design experience

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for AI-enabled IAM development ecosystems
• Establish engineering standards, governance models, and best practices

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IDAM Architect AI to lead the architecture and governance of AI-powered developer tooling within Identity & Access Management (IAM) ecosystems. This role will own the design, engineering standards, and reusable integration patterns for AI copilots and tools used by IAM teams.

You will ensure that AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Mistral-based solutions) are implemented securely, consistently, and efficiently, while continuously evolving frameworks in response to emerging risks, platform updates, and engineering needs.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy

• Define and own the architecture for AI-enabled IAM development ecosystems
• Establish engineering standards, governance models, and best practices
• Design scalable and reusable integration patterns for AI tooling across IAM platforms
• Align AI initiatives with enterprise architecture and security strategy

AI Tooling & Copilot Enablement

• Lead adoption and governance of AI tools such as:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Google Gemini
  • Claude
  • Mistral-based coding assistants
• Design secure AI-assisted development workflows
• Build frameworks and guardrails for LLM usage within IAM teams
• Evaluate and onboard emerging AI developer tools

Security & Risk Management

• Ensure secure usage of AI tools, including protection of:
  • Sensitive identity data (PII, credentials, tokens)
  • Source code and proprietary logic
• Define controls for prompt security, data leakage prevention, and model risks
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for AI integrations
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and standards

Integration & Engineering Excellence

• Develop reusable integration patterns for:
  • IAM platforms (Okta, Azure AD, Ping, ForgeRock)
  • APIs and microservices
  • Cloud-native architectures
• Standardize API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
• Drive DevSecOps practices in AI-assisted IAM development

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Continuously enhance AI architecture patterns and standards
• Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and security of AI tooling
• Stay updated with AI and IAM industry trends
• Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new tools and capabilities

Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a technical thought leader for AI in IAM
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams
• Mentor teams on secure and effective AI adoption
• Drive enterprise-wide standardization and adoption

Governance & Monitoring

• Define KPIs and metrics for AI tool usage and impact
• Implement audit, logging, and monitoring frameworks
• Provide insights on risk, compliance, and productivity improvements

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM/IDAM)
