JOB DETAILS

• Primary responsibility is to attend ICU patients.
• Manage critically ill patients pre and post operative.
• Assist consultants in the ICU, theatre recovery area, ward or other areas in the hospital as needed.
• Be familiar with the use of emergency resuscitation equipment.
• Undertake emergency investigations and procedures according to hospital policies and protocols as directed by respective consultants.
• Maintain notes and treatment records of all attended patients.
• Update prescription of discharged patients as per respective consultant's guidance.
• Conduct all procedures in ICU – intubation, CPR, etc.
• ICU medical officer must be able to handle ICU patients independently with ability to perform various ICU procedures such as central line and intubation, catheterization, etc.
• Have knowledge of handling MI cases, trauma, cardiology, RTA patients.
• Coordinate and perform duties as per hospital rules.
