Job summary

Qualifications

  • Perform routine and non-routine elemental analysis using ICP-MS.
  • Independently prepare and digest samples using microwave and conventional digestion techniques.
  • Develop, optimize, validate, and verify analytical methods as per customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct calibration, tuning, performance verification, and routine maintenance of the ICP-MS instrument.
  • Troubleshoot instrument and analytical issues to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.
  • Prepare and review analytical data, calculations, and reports with high accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with NABL, ISO/IEC 17025, GLP, SOPs, and laboratory quality management systems.
  • Participate in internal audits, proficiency testing, and quality control activities.
  • Maintain laboratory documentation, instrument logbooks, calibration records, and maintenance records.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding technical queries and project requirements.
  • Ensure laboratory safety practices and proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
