Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an IBM Infosphere DataStage developer in India to design, develop, and optimize ETL jobs across multiple data sources. You will build scalable data pipelines, implement DW concepts, and ensure data quality and reliability through robust testing and documentation.

Role involves collaborating with data architects, DBAs, and analysts to translate business requirements into efficient ETL solutions, with exposure to Control-M scheduling and production support.

Formación

• Experience designing, developing and maintaining ETL jobs with DataStage 11.x.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM DataStage 11.x (Parallel and Server jobs).
• Build scalable data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Optimize DataStage jobs for high performance, reliability, and reusability.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Work with SQL and relational databases to write complex queries and perform data validations.
• Implement data warehousing concepts, including SCDs, fact/dimension modeling, and data quality checks.
• Create job sequences, parameter sets, reusable components, and shared containers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data architects, DBAs, business analysts) to translate requirements into ETL solutions.
• Deploy, schedule, and monitor DataStage jobs using Control-M or similar scheduling tools.
• Prepare technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and ETL process specifications.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into technical ETL solutions.
• Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, QA, and analytics teams.
