Job summary

The LKQ India IT Compliance Analyst role supports the European IT Compliance function by reviewing information systems for regulatory, contractual and policy alignment and advising governance on issues.

You will monitor IT General Controls, perform testing, track findings, prepare dashboards, and assist audits with coordination across GRC, IT Security and management.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Analysis, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven (at least 3 year) experience as IT compliance analyst, IT auditor, IT security specialist or related positions.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations, in particular Sarbanes Oxley 302/404.
• Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities, project management skills
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with IT SOX control environment is an advantage, same as professional certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP).
• English language for daily professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor execution of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and other IT compliance controls across European operations.
• Review control evidence for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established requirements.
• Perform periodic compliance checks and control quality reviews.
• Track control performance metrics and identify exceptions or potential control failures.
• Maintain documentation supporting compliance activities and control execution.
• Follow up with control owners to ensure timely completion of control activities.
• Escalate control deficiencies, non-compliance issues, and overdue actions as required.
• Support internal and external audits through coordination of evidence requests and audit deliverables.
• Track audit findings, remediation plans, and ensure timely closure of agreed actions.
• Prepare compliance dashboards, KPI reports, and management updates.
• Maintain compliance repositories, control inventories, and governance documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and automation of compliance monitoring processes and tools.

Job description

IT Compliance Analyst

The LKQ European IT Compliance function consists of a team of IT Compliance Managers and the IT Compliance Analyst, working together to ensure an effective and efficient compliance profile. The IT Compliance an increasingly pan-European focus as IT services are further centralized. The IT Compliance Analyst reviews current and proposed information systems for compliance with the organisation's obligations (including legislation, regulatory, contractual and agreed standards/policies) and adherence to overall strategy. Together with the IT Compliance Managers, the IT compliancy Analyst provides specialist advice to those accountable for governance to correct compliance issues. The IT Compliance Analyst aims to pro-actively prevent risks to the organization that might end up as deficiencies on the audit reports and works on getting the reported deficiencies resolved. The IT Compliance Manager works closely with the local IT teams, LKQ Corporate Audit and LKQ IT Security.
