Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Hyperion Essbase Consultant to support our financial planning and analytics environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Essbase development, maintenance, and performance optimization, with the ability to work independently in a part-time engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Hyperion Essbase applications
• Perform cube design, outline creation, and data modelling
• Develop and optimize calculation scripts, business rules, and load rules
• Manage data integrations (ETL processes) into Essbase cubes
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize cube performance
• Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with finance/business teams to gather requirements
• Handle Essbase security, user roles, and access controls
• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and issue resolution

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in Oracle Hyperion Essbase
• Strong expertise in:
  • Essbase (BSO & ASO cubes)
  • Calculation scripts & optimization
  • Data load rules & automation
• Experience with:
