Job summary

Phensa Engineering is seeking a motivated HVAC Designer to join our Engineering team in India. You will prepare, detail, and review Marine HVAC drawings, guiding junior designers and supporting senior engineers.

The role focuses on offshore and marine projects, adherence to codes and standards, and collaboration with project teams to deliver robust HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Marine, Mechanical, Civil Eng. or related.
• 4–7 years design office experience.
• Strong knowledge of Class rules and international standards.
• HVAC project experience in Marine & Offshore.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; 3D CAD modelling preferred.
• Offshore/marine/oil & gas exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, detail, and review Marine HVAC drawings using AutoCAD.
• Guide junior designers in design and drawing tasks.
• Support senior engineers in design and drawing activities.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry codes and regulations.
• Work with project teams on offshore, marine, and oil & gas structures.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated HVAC Designer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, detailing, and reviewing HVAC drawings for a variety of marine and offshore projects, while guiding junior designers and supporting senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, detail, and review Marine HVAC drawings using AutoCAD
• Provide guidance to junior designers in design and drawing tasks
• Support senior engineers in design and drawing activities
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry codes and regulations
• Work closely with project teams on offshore, marine, and oil & gas structures

Requirements

• Diploma/ B.Tech in Marine, Mechanical, Civil Eng., or a closely related discipline
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in design office
• Strong knowledge of Class rules, regulations, and international standards
• Proven expertise in HVAC project within the Marine & Offshore industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced drawing techniques.
• Experience with 3D CAD modelling software is an advantage.
• Exposure to offshore, marine, or oil & gas industries preferred
