Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration or related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience including HRBP work.
  • Experience with technology/GCCs is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to translate priorities into people strategies.
  • Advise on org design, workforce planning, talent management, and engagement.
  • Support leaders in transformation and organizational effectiveness.
  • Build relationships across functions to drive engagement and culture.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and business-focused Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing Global Capability Center (GCC) in Pune. The HRBP will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving people initiatives that enable organizational growth, employee engagement, and business performance.

This role requires someone who can balance strategic HR partnership with operational excellence while supporting a fast-paced, technology-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational priorities and translate them into people strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on organization design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement
  • Support leaders in driving business transformation and organizational effectiveness

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with employees across functions and levels
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance concerns
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, culture-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives
  • Foster an inclusive and high-performance work environment

Performance & Talent Management

  • Partner with managers on goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans
  • Identify high-potential talent and support succession planning and leadership development
  • Coach managers on effective people management and leadership practices

Talent Acquisition Partnership

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support workforce planning and hiring priorities
  • Participate in key hiring discussions for leadership and critical roles
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding and assimilation experience for new employees

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies and practices are consistently implemented
  • Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exits
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements
  • Partner with payroll and HR operations teams to ensure seamless execution of HR processes

Compensation & Reward

  • Support annual compensation review, promotions, and reward programs
  • Provide market insights and compensation recommendations in partnership with the Total Rewards team
  • Ensure internal equity and consistency in compensation decisions

Learning & Development

  • Identify capability gaps and partner with Learning & Development teams to create development plans
  • Support leadership development and employee career growth initiatives

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze key HR metrics, including attrition, retention, engagement, hiring, and performance
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to business leaders
  • Drive action plans based on people analytics
Required Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partnering
  • Experience supporting technology, product engineering, or Global Capability Centers (GCCs) is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practice
