Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Surat, Gujarat seeks an experienced Supervisor to lead fabrication of heat transfer equipment. You will supervise welding, assembly and testing activities on site.

You will ensure compliance with drawings, WPS, QAP, ASME/TEMA codes, and customer requirements, while planning manpower, materials, tools and equipment. A strong focus on safety, 5S and timely delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising fabrication of heat-transfer equipment.
• Knowledge of WPS, QA plans and ASME/TEMA codes.
• Strong planning, coordination and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to safety and housekeeping (5S).

Responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication, welding, assembly and testing activities.

• Monitor progress to meet productivity, quality, safety and delivery targets.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Welding Engineering, Machine Shop and Stores teams.
• Ensure material traceability, documentation, and inspection readiness.
• Minimize rework through quality control and process monitoring.
• Develop welders, fitters and contract manpower to improve shop performance.
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and 5S practices.
