Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking Execution engineers in Bengaluru to support development and validation of GPU and SOC platforms. You will run comprehensive tests across Windows, Linux, and Android, collect data, and triage failures while performing board bring-up and IO validation.

You will work with a global HW team on high-speed IOs like PCIe, USB, and memory interfaces, contributing to high-quality, state-of-the-art GPU/SOC products for diverse markets.

Qualifications

• BE with 4+ years of hardware platform testing and validation experience.
• Hands-on with lab/measurement equipment and electrical SI concepts.
• Proficient in Linux-based testing and prelim debug.
• Familiar with debugging tools like WinDBG and ADB.
• Strong understanding of PC system components and interconnects.

Responsibilities

• Run test cases on engineering systems for stress, electrical, functional and environmental testing across Windows, Linux and Android.
• Collect and triage data from numerous systems, file defects and prepare reports.
• Assemble and test complex systems for stability under varied conditions.
• Perform platform bring-up, board screening, FW programming and power rail checks.
• Validate PCIe, USB, eMMC, DP, HDMI interfaces and related IO.

NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design group is seeking Execution engineers who will be supporting development and validation of product and engineering platforms for Nvidia GPUs and SOCs. You will get to work hands on across various high speed IOs such as PCI-E Gen5, USB SS gen2, System level functional testing for performance and system stability. You will be part of a highly motivated, talented, global HW team and play a crucial role in delivering a high quality, state of the art products to serve various key markets.

What you’ll be doing :

• As part of platform validation team, you will be running various test cases on engineering systems that involve stress testing, electrical testing, functional testing, environmental testing which involves Windows, Linux and Android based stress tests
• Collect data from large number of systems, identify failures, classify failures based on symptoms and first level of debug. Preparing and filing test reports, bugs
• Assembly and testing of complex systems for stability testing
• Understand and execute test procedures across process, voltage, temperature corners, do required modifications to test scripts to suite the environment, drive prelim debugs and triage.
• Run functional tests for GPU and SoC interfaces like PCIe, USB, eMMC, DP, HDMI,
• Participate in Platform Bring up and perform board screening, FW programming, fusing, power rail checkouts, IO peripherals checkout

What we need to see:

• B.E with 4+ years of experience in hardware platform testing and validation
• Experience in board validation, electrical SI measurement concepts
• Hands-on experience with lab/measurement equipment (DSOs, BERT, VNA, Protocol analyzers, Data Acquisition units) is required
• Strong familiarity with executing tests under Linux environment. Must be able to do prelim debug analysis
• Familiarity with basic debugging using tools like WinDBG, ADB etc
• Strong understanding of PC system components and various buses and interconnects, PCB components.
