In this professional role, based in Pune, you’ll support managers and employees by coordinating HR requests and transactions across the employee lifecycle. As an HR Associate, you will help ensure requests are properly authorized, accurately documented, compliant, and progressed through the correct process. You will work closely with HR Operations, specialist teams, and other functions to resolve cases from request to closure. Strong judgment, attention to detail, clear communication, confidentiality, and a customer service mindset are critical to success in this role.
Execute HR and administrative system transactions on behalf of managers, ensuring required approvals and documentation are in place. Interpret manager and employee requests, identify the correct HR process, and route transactions or cases appropriately. Coordinate with specialist teams including Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Mobility, Finance Operations, and IT to resolve requests. Review requests for completeness, consistency, and clarity, and proactively seek additional information before processing. Manage a high volume of HR cases and follow up with stakeholders until resolution. Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation for all transactions completed under delegated authority. Safeguard sensitive and confidential employee information and follow applicable data privacy and compliance requirements. Identify non-standard or complex cases and elevate them to the appropriate process owner. Identify recurring process gaps, operational risks, and system limitations, and share feedback with process owners. Support process improvements and cross-functional initiatives that enhance manager and employee experience. Provide professional and timely customer service to managers, employees, and partner teams. Support HR integration and People Solutions activities as required.
This is a fixed-term contract lasting 18–24 months, with the shift running from 1:00PM to 10:00PM IST. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or a similarly process-driven administrative function. Fundamental understanding of HR practices and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes. Working knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday and case management tools such as ServiceNow. Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cross-functional requests with consistency, accuracy, and discretion. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate across teams and levels. Understanding of employee data confidentiality, data privacy, compliance, and audit requirements.
Experience working in a Global Business Services or HR Shared Services environment. Exposure to global HR operations and collaboration across different organizational cultures. Experience coordinating with HR Centers of Excellence and non-HR partner functions. Ability to identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Experience supporting HR transformation, integration, or People Solutions activities.
