Job description
Role & responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all assigned areas.
  • Plan and schedule cleaning activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory and usage of housekeeping supplies, chemicals, and equipment; raise requisitions as required
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, offices, washrooms, and public spaces to ensure maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Maintain records related to housekeeping operations, including staff attendance, duty rosters, and material consumption.
  • Ensure proper training and grooming of housekeeping team members to maintain service excellence.
  • Handle asset management by keeping track of furniture, fixtures, and other housekeeping assets.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for repair, pest control, and facility upkeep requirements
  • Enforce safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as per company policies and statutory norms.
  • Address guest and staff complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning methods, and modern equipment usage.
  • Leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
