Job summary

HiLITE Group seeks a Hostel Supervisor to oversee residential facilities for students in Kerala. The role focuses on safety, discipline, and well-being, while ensuring adherence to rules and daily schedules. You will work with teachers, management, and families to address concerns and provide support.

The position involves monitoring attendance, meals, bedtime routines, and coordinating housekeeping and security to maintain a positive living environment for learners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students residing in the hostel.
• Ensure student safety, discipline, and overall well-being.
• Maintain hostel rules, routines, and code of conduct.
• Monitor attendance, roll calls, study hours, meals, and bedtime routines.
• Address students’ concerns and provide appropriate guidance and support.
• Coordinate with teachers, school management, parents, and other staff regarding student matters.
• Handle emergencies and ensure timely medical assistance when required.
• Monitor hostel cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and security.
• Maintain records of student attendance, leave, incidents, and hostel activities.
• Supervise hostel staff and coordinate daily housekeeping and support services.
• Ensure students follow proper study, recreational, and daily activity schedules.
• Report disciplinary issues, safety concerns, or other significant incidents to the school management.
• Create a safe, supportive, and positive residential environment for students.
