Job summary

Keka Inc. seeks a Farm Manager for Adani Organic Farm in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role focuses on maintaining organic vegetable crops and farmhouse landscape, planning seasonal production, and ensuring soil health and pest management.

Experience in nursery operations and transplanting is valued. The candidate will oversee irrigation and fertigation, maintain records, and coordinate with workers, vendors, and client representatives to ensure clean, well-presented farm premises and timely crop

Qualifications

• Qualification: MSc in Agriculture (Fruits & Vegetables) or Horticulture preferred.
• BSc in Agriculture/Horticulture applicants with relevant farm experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Overall maintenance and management of the organic farm vegetables and farmhouse landscape.
• Planning and execution of seasonal vegetable, fruit and horticultural crop production.
• Organic farming practices, soil health and nutrient management.
• Preparation and application of organic manure, compost, FYM and bio-fertilizers.
• Pest and disease monitoring and implementation of organic plant protection practices.
• Nursery raising, propagation and transplantation activities.
• Fruit and vegetable crop management from planting to harvesting.
• Irrigation and fertigation management.
• Maintaining crop records, input records, production records and farm activity reports.
• Planning of seasonal crops based on project requirements.
• Maintaining landscape, lawns, ornamental plants and plantations around the farm house.
• Coordination with farm workers, vendors and project/client representatives.
• Ensuring proper hygiene, cleanliness and overall presentation of the farm and farm house premises.

Qualification: M.Sc. Agriculture – Fruits & Vegetables / Horticulture preferred. B.Sc. Agriculture / Horticulture candidates with relevant farm experience may also be considered.
