Job summary

Protiviti India is seeking a Finance Business Partner/FP&A professional to support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. The role involves variance analysis, revenue analytics, headcount planning, and building financial models to drive profitability.

You will partner with various business stakeholders to interpret financial performance, monitor KPIs, and prepare performance dashboards for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting and financial planning process, including preparation of budgets and financial plans.
• Perform forecasting and reforecasting activities and provide insights on changes in the business outlook.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports and MIS for business and finance stakeholders.
• Conduct actual vs. budget/forecast variance analysis, identify key drivers, and provide meaningful commentary.
• Perform revenue analytics, including revenue tracking, trend analysis, forecasting, and identification of key revenue drivers.
• Support headcount planning and workforce cost analysis, including tracking actuals against plan and forecasting future requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Act as a business finance partner by working closely with stakeholders to understand business performance and provide relevant financial insights.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Support preparation of business reviews, management presentations, and performance dashboards.
• Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and provide commentary on business performance.
• Support month-end financial reporting and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
• Assist in scenario planning and what-if analysis to support business decision-making.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand financial performance and translate business requirements into financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and automation within FP&A processes.
• Perform other FP&A and ad-hoc financial analysis activities as required.
