Job summary

Hiring Squad is seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to lead penetration testing and security assessments for client engagements in Mumbai. You will collaborate with clients, provide advisory support, and oversee a mid-sized security team to deliver high-impact recommendations.

The role requires hands-on testing across web, mobile, API, network and infrastructure, with strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, NIST, CIS and security frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Cyber Security experience with 2-3 years in client-facing advisory/consulting roles.
• Experience in managing a medium-sized security team and client relationships.
• Strong expertise in Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, Red Teaming and Security Assessment.
• Hands-on testing in Web, Mobile, API, Thick Client, Network & Infrastructure Security.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, NIST, CIS, OSI & TCP/IP security frameworks.
• Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, Cloud, Database and Application Security.
• Hands-on with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Nessus, Qualys, Nmap, SQLMap & OWASP ZAP.
• Strong understanding of manual penetration testing, security vulnerabilities, threat intelligence and remediation.
• Experience in technical documentation, RFP/RFI responses, business proposals and stakeholder management.
• Preferred certifications: CEH, ECSA, OSCP, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK or AWS Security.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients and support consulting engagements in cyber security.
• Manage relationships with medium-sized client teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct and coordinate penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and red team exercises.
• Document findings and deliver security recommendations and remediation steps.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and business proposals with technical input.
