Job description
Role Summary

The HR resource will be responsible for handling end-to-end HR and administration activities at the warehouse site. The role involves managing recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and grievance handling for both on-roll and contractual staff, ensuring smooth workforce management in a 3PL warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Coordinate manpower planning with warehouse operations.
  • Manage recruitment of on-roll and contractual workforce (including bulk-hiring for associates).
  • Conduct joining formalities, induction, and maintain employee records.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Manage attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and shift rosters.
  • Track contract labor deployment and vendor compliance.
  • Ensure timely issuance of offer letters, ID cards, and separation formalities.
3. Statutory & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
  • Maintain all compliance documents, registers, and liaise with statutory bodies as required.
  • Ensure contractor compliance and audit readiness.
4. Employee Engagement & Welfare
  • Address employee grievances and escalate where required.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities to improve morale and retention.
  • Ensure workplace safety, discipline, and welfare initiatives.
5. HR Operations & Reporting
  • Maintain HRMIS/ERP data accuracy.
  • Prepare and share regular HR reports (attendance, attrition, compliance, manpower cost).
  • Support training and development initiatives for workforce upskilling.
