Job summary

Celebal Tech is seeking a Backend Developer (Node.js) with strong API design and Azure serverless experience. You will collaborate with frontend teams using React, Angular, and Next.js to deliver scalable, secure APIs and integrated applications.

The candidate should have 4+ years of experience, proficiency in OAuth/JWT, and a solid foundation in Agile practices to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Exposure to frontend integration with React/Angular/Next.js.
• Proficiency in Azure serverless architectures and Cosmos DB/MongoDB.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, API security and authentication.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Optimize API performance and scalability for high-traffic apps.
• Build scalable serverless applications on Azure (Functions, Web Apps, Service Bus).
• Manage cloud storage like Azure Blob Storage.
• Implement API security, authentication, authorization.
• Work with SQL & NoSQL databases (MS SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB).
• Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Develop frontend components using React/Angular/Next.js.
• Translate designs to high-quality, responsive UI screens.
• Write unit/integration tests (Jest).
• Maintain API documentation for maintainability.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues; implement observability.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
