Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer in India to lead design, development and maintenance of scalable data solutions on Snowflake’s cloud data platform.

You will work across Snowflake-native pipelines, Snowpark and DBT, integrating AWS/Azure cloud services and Cortex AI for ML use cases with data scientists.

Qualifications

• 5 to 17 years of experience in data engineering including 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Snow SQL, Snow PLSQL and Snowpark for query development, stored procedures and Python-based data applications.
• Advanced skills in Python programming with a focus on data engineering.
• Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and DBT for data transformation and modeling.
• Background in Snowflake Cortex AI for native AI and ML capabilities.
