Job summary

Alignerr is seeking MPH-level professionals to design and evaluate health policy and epidemiology content for AI models. This fully remote, flexible hourly contract offers 10–40 hours per week and the chance to shape how AI understands health information.

You will design complex public health scenarios, author expert-level solutions from peer-reviewed sources, and audit AI outputs for accuracy and bias while improving AI reasoning for clear risk communication and population equity.

Qualifications

• Masters in Public Health (MPH) or closely related graduate degree.
• Strong knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy.
• Able to translate complex health data into clear, culturally sensitive, actionable written content.
• Detail-oriented with regard to statistical significance, data citations, and health interventions.

Responsibilities

• Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — create real-world problems involving disease outbreak simulations, equity assessments, and trial data interpretation.
• Author expert-level solutions — synthesize peer-reviewed research and epidemiological data with guidelines from CDC/WHO.
• Audit AI outputs — evaluate health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, and scientific standards.
• Improve AI reasoning — provide structured feedback to distinguish correlation from causation and communicate risk clearly.

What You'll Do

• Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create challenging, real-world problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and interpretation of clinical trial data
• Author Expert-Level Solutions — Write rigorous, evidence-based responses that synthesize peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and established guidelines from bodies like the CDC and WHO
• Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for factual accuracy, bias, and adherence to ethical and scientific standards
• Improve AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk clearly, and serve diverse populations equitably

Who You Are

• Holds a Masters in Public Health (MPH), MSPH, or closely related graduate degree
• Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
• Able to translate complex health data into clear, culturally sensitive, and actionable written content
• Detail-oriented when it comes to statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventions
• No prior AI experience required — your public health knowledge is what matters

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
• Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health surveillance
