Job summary

Parexel India is seeking a scientifically driven professional to support project execution in health economics and outcomes research. You will deliver high-quality solutions, manage literature reviews, and develop systematic review deliverables under project leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Life Science and 4+ years of relevant experience, with fluent English and a keen interest in medical research and healthcare. You will collaborate across teams to drive client objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong background in life science with emphasis on health economics/outcomes, preferred.
• Experience in health economics or outcomes research is advantageous.
• Minimum 4 years in a relevant role would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, timely, scientific/strategic solutions to meet client needs.
• Lead the conduct and analysis research to shape strategic recommendations under the Project Director.
• Manage literature reviews, data extraction, and protocol design to support client objectives.
• Develop deliverables for systematic literature reviews (reports, slides, manuscripts).
• Ensure quality work meeting client expectations and project timelines.
• Lead all aspects of project management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution

• Provide high quality, timely, scientific/strategic solutions to meet client needs.
• Understands client objectives and project specific requirements to customize delivery to the client need; apply innovative evidence strategies.
• Lead the conduct and analysis research, that will shape the development of strategic recommendations, under the guidance of the project director.
• Manage and contribute to the execution of tasks to search for evidence as part of the literature review (e.g. screening, data extraction, protocol design, quantitative feasibility) to support the overall client objective.
• Manage and prepare the synthesis and review of findings.
• Develop project deliverables as required in a typical Systematic Literature Review project e.g. systematic review reports, slide decks, manuscripts, abstracts and posters.
• Produce and ensure quality work that meets the expectations of Project Lead/ Manager and the client.
• Work within broad project guidelines as directed by the Project Director and/or Technical SMEs.
• Take initiative to prioritize work to achieve specified project outcomes while confirming alignment with Project Lead and Line Manager.
• Follow and implement the organization's consulting models and methodologies.
• Lead on all aspects of project management activities.

Parexel – Related Responsibilities

• Complete basic job-related responsibilities, including timesheets, expense reports, maintenance of CVs, project deliverable archiving.
• Participate in internal initiatives/projects or as a mentor as requested by management.
