The Corporate Institute in Mumbai seeks a Head of Treasury and Banking to own cash, debt and currency exposure across the group, consolidating visibility and hedging. The role leads a small team and partners with FP&A, operations, and external bankers to ensure reliable treasury operations and accurate forecasting.
You will manage multi‑currency liquidity (INR, USD, THB), cross‑border funding, banking relationships, and debt covenants, including setting up US banking for the new entity.

DIRECT REPORTS: Two seasoned manager tier leaders (Forex and Banking, and Working Capital and Debt), supported by treasury and cash management officers.
The Head of Treasury and Banking owns the group’s cash, debt, and currency exposure on a managed, consolidated basis. The role runs the group treasury discipline across cash visibility, working capital control, foreign exchange hedging, and banking relationship management. The Head of Treasury and Banking leads the function day to day, owns the cash forecast and the hedging framework, and ensures banking and treasury operations run reliably across the group.
Build a single group view of cash across all entities and banks across India, Thailand, and the planned US operations. Stand up a 13 week rolling cash forecast in partnership with FP and A, covering INR, THB, and USD balances. Manage liquidity, multi currency cash management, and inter entity funding, including cross border funding and repatriation flows across India, Thailand, and the US.
Drive working capital discipline across receivables, payables, and inventory funding. Partner with the businesses to release cash tied up in the operating cycle.
Own the group’s banking relationships across India, Thailand, and the planned US operations, including selecting US banking partners and standing up US bank accounts and cash management infrastructure for the new entity. Manage debt facilities, covenants, and refinancing. Optimise the cost and structure of borrowing across the group.
Build and run the FX hedging framework across India, Thailand, and the planned US operations, with explicit policy coverage of USD exposure (INR/USD, THB/USD, and INR/THB pairs as relevant). Manage transaction and translation exposure – including exposure arising from cross border funding and repatriation flows to and from the US – within an approved policy.
Maintain the treasury policy, approval framework, and controls. Ensure treasury operates at a standard appropriate to external audit and external capital scrutiny.
Lead and develop the treasury team. Maintain banking and treasury operations discipline so daily execution is reliable and controlled.
Chartered Accountant.
8 – 12 years of post qualification experience, of which:
Strong on cash forecasting, FX instruments, and debt structures. Familiar with treasury management systems and comfortable with ERP sourced data, ideally SAP.
Manufacturing, industrial, or any capital intensive multi entity group is preferred.
