Purpose of the role
As the Head of PMO – Managed Accounts, you will play a critical governance and leadership role within the organization. This position will be responsible for building and leading the Project Management Office (PMO) team dedicated to the Managed Accounts vertical. You will ensure operational excellence across multiple client accounts by driving consistency in delivery, maintaining high-quality standards, and implementing standardized processes. Initially, this will be an individual contributor role with a strong focus on governance and process establishment. Once the Managed Accounts portfolio exceeds five active projects, you will be responsible for scaling and managing a team of PMOs, each aligned with Account Directors to ensure optimal client satisfaction and delivery efficiency.
What you’ll do
- Process flow and SOP’s / Client engagement
- RACI for all stages of project
- Define clear R&R of Managed account team, Project Delivery team
- Client interface by Managed account and Project delivery team
- KPI for managed account and team, and KPI for Project delivery team
- Prepare Dashboard Templates for Client Engagement, including Portfolio details (projects – location, size etc.), Schedule status (actual vs planned), Risks, Key Observations
- Knowledge Hub Database Structure / Folder structure – central repository of all project related information (client design guidelines, project related key documents)
- Templates for key summary of ID, MEP, AV, IT, ADA, Facilities – requirements/findings
- Governance & Delivery Oversight: Implement governance frameworks, lead regular performance reviews across Managed Accounts, ensure consistent application of delivery standards, process adherence, and risk mitigation
- Liaise with local studios and delivery leads to coordinate execution and resource planning
- Financial Health & Reporting: develop and maintain standardized templates for financial health tracking (Billings, EBIT, NSV analysis), monitor account financials and provide insights to leadership on profitability, efficiency and risks; partner with finance and delivery teams to align forecasts with actual performance
- Monthly/Quarterly Governance & Analytics: lead monthly and quarterly governance cadences, including performance analytics, issue tracking, stakeholder reporting; prepare and present performance dashboards to internal and client stakeholders
- Strategic Partnership & Innovation: participate in long‑term account strategy planning, innovation initiatives, and roadmap alignment with clients; support the Global Account Director and Account Directors in identifying opportunities for growth, efficiency and transformation
- .Team Leadership & Growth: once the Managed Accounts portfolio scales beyond five active projects, recruit, onboard, and manage a team of PMOs; provide leadership, mentorship and performance oversight to ensure effective execution across the portfolio
- Project Delivery Governance: conduct Project Initiation workshop with the managed account team, studio team and SMEs covering Project Brief, R&R and RACI; knowledge session on lessons learned, client guidelines and prior project data; budgets and specifications; project schedule and key milestones; client directory; cadence for internal and client calls and governance calls; attend all important meetings (weekly calls, design calls, schedule and budget calls); identify risks and propose mitigation strategies; track project deliverables against schedule and quality; work closely with procurement to ensure conversion to build in DBB projects and improve overall NSV; coordinate billing milestones per schedule; implement quality control checks at every project stage; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations; conduct periodic internal audits and assessments; maintain comprehensive project documentation and records; generate performance reports and financial summaries; provide dashboards with real‑time project insights; share post-project analysis for future enhancements; conduct final project review and debrief; lessons learned - Design, Process, Delivery, Commercial, Engagement model – internal and client; post‑occupancy survey, analysis; ensure NPS at key stages
