Job summary

Execo Group is seeking a senior Security and IT leader to own and drive security, IT, and governance across seven countries, reporting to the COO. You will direct a multinational team, manage SOC 2 Type II, audits, incident response, and policy programs, while aligning with clients and cross-border operations.

You will set global identity standards, manage subscriptions and budgets with Finance, and ensure continuity across time zones through near-24/7 IT operations and disaster recovery

Responsibilities

• Lead security and IT for a company across seven countries, reporting to the COO.
• Own SOC 2 Type II audit, annual penetration tests, and client security responses.
• Develop, write, and maintain security and IT policies and training across entities.
• Enforce identity and access standards using Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and zero trust.
• Own AI governance, model approvals, and data access controls.
• Run IT as a 24/7 service with KPI-driven service levels and asset lifecycle management.
• Lead cost optimization for all subscriptions and budgeting with Finance.
• Lead and develop the security/IT team across time zones with reporting to the COO.

Job Description

• Leadsecurity and IT for the whole company. You are the single owner ofboth, for every entity in seven countries (US, UK, Singapore, Kenya,Philippines, India, South Africa), reporting to the COO and leadinga team of five in India, the Philippines, and Kenya.
  
• Setthe security strategy and stand behind it with clients. You own SOC2 Type II, the annual audit and penetration test, incident responsewith the General Counsel, and the security answers in every RFP andclient audit we face.
  
• Ownevery policy and process document across security and IT. Writethem, keep them current and version controlled; run the training andphishing simulations that make people follow them, with completionreported by country.
  
• Setthe global standard for identity and access and enforce iteverywhere. Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, zero trust in ChromeEnterprise Premium, and best-practice for Administrator management.
  
• Ownthe company's position on AI. Which models are approved for whichdata, enforced through access controls, including the AI featuresthat switch on inside software we already own.
  
• RunIT as a 24/7 service across seven countries. The Jira queue and itsservice levels, HR to IT automation so leavers lose access on theirlast day, and assets from purchase to disposal.
  
• Ownthe cost of every subscription we hold. Build and run the cost modelwith Finance: what we pay, which entity and team it belongs to, whateach renewal should cost, and where we are paying for seats nobodyuses. You bring the savings, not just the invoices.
  
• Leadand develop the team. Shift rota covering US, European, and Asianhours, a deputy who can hold the queue, continuity and disasterrecovery plans tested per entity, and monthly reporting to the COOon service, risk, compliance, and spend.
  

Requirements

• Hasbeen the accountable owner of security and IT for a company or alarge division, with eight or more years in the field, three of themleading a team across more than one country.
  
• DeepGoogle Workspace administration at organisation level, plusMicrosoft 365 and Entra ID, and hands on zero trust (ChromeEnterprise Premium, BeyondCorp, Zscaler, or Cloudflare Access).
  
• Hastaken a company through SOC 2 Type II in Vanta, Drata, or Sprinto,and wrote the policies and procedures rather than inheriting them.
  
• Hasscoped penetration tests, run phishing programmes, and written andtested continuity plans.
  
• Hasowned a software subscription budget alongside Finance: trackingspend, allocating cost to entities and teams, negotiating renewals,and removing seats. Be ready to quote what you saved and how.
  
• Hasrepresented a company to client security teams: questionnaires,audits, and RFPs.
  
• Hasrun a service desk to service levels across time zones, ideallyJira, building automation across functions to provide a seamlessuser experience.
  
• Desirable:ISO 27001; GDPR, PDPA, DPDP, POPIA; CISSP, CISM, or CCSP; scriptingin Apps Script, Python, or PowerShell.
