Job summary

The role requires 20–25 years in civil design leadership, BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Civil Engineering, and strong command of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 20-25 years of relevant experience in design lead roles.
• Deep knowledge of highway and structure design principles.
• Strong familiarity with codes, standards, and geotechnical data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design for construction projects to contract stage.
• Provide technical direction to design crew and assign tasks.
• Review and revise designs and project plans.
• Supervise revision of project drawings and estimates.
• Undertake independent studies or assignments as needed.
• Address inquiries from public or government agencies.
• Direct preparation of drawings and estimates in applications.
• Apply design codes and interpret contract clauses.

Job Purpose:

Lead the strategic development of highway and structure designs, ensuring adherence to standards, optimizing project outcomes, and preparing cost-effective solutions. Direct project management and client coordination efforts, integrating innovative technologies for efficient and compliant infrastructure solutions, maintaining high-quality standards in collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed design for construction projects to the contract stage.
• Providing technical direction to the design crew, assigning tasks, instructing in procedures, and ensuring the orderly progress of the project
• Reviews and revises and complete design projects.
• Supervises revision of plans of projects to contract.
• Undertake independent studies or assignments.
• Deals with written enquiries assigned originating either from the public or from other government agencies.
• Directing the preparation of drawings and estimates in specific applications.
• Acquaintance with design codes and manuals
• Contract Clauses interpretation.
• To incorporate state of art technology
