Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is seeking a Head of FIT Operations – GCC to lead the Fund Integration Team (FIT) across India, ensuring consistent delivery, robust controls and alignment with the global operating model.

You will oversee hiring, capacity planning, and cross-location coordination, with periodic travel to Indian sites. The role demands senior leadership experience in financial services and a track record of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in financial services fund industry with focus on fund setups and implementation.
• Bachelor or master's degree in accounting, finance and economics.
• Management experience overseeing a large multi-jurisdictional team.
• Experience in sourcing the best talent in the Indian market and building a team.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with a client-servicing mindset.
• Understanding of Open Ended, Closed Ended and Hybrid Funds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FIT team across Indian locations, ensuring consistent delivery and strong controls.
• Scale the team through growth and alignment hires to transition FIT to the future operating model.
• Provide local oversight of all FIT team members in India.
• Travel between Indian locations periodically.
• Drive consolidation of the team to three primary locations in India.
• Plan resourcing and capacity with global FIT heads.
• Oversee FIT hiring in India and collaborate with Talent Acquisition.
• Maintain relationships with GCC heads and local senior management.
• Produce timely KPI reports and metrics for automation initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvement to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Partner with automation/AI teams to rollout new initiatives.
• Develop system requirements to meet regulatory needs and improve client experience.
• Document processes with audit trails and handover procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet deadlines and ensure quality.
• Manage work allocation and ensure BCP plans.

We are currently looking for a Head of FIT Operations – GCC to lead and scale the Fund Integration Team ("FIT") across the locations in India that support the global business of Apex Group Ltd. This is a leadership role reporting locally to the GCC Head of Client Onboarding and KYC but with a dotted reporting line to the Global Heads of FIT.

Job Specification

• Lead the FIT team across the Indian locations, ensuring consistent delivery, strong processes and controls that drive the Group operating model.
• Scale the team through growth and alignment hires to fully transition FIT to the future state target operating model.
• Provide local oversight of all FIT team members in India.
• Flexible to travel between the locations in India on a periodic basis.
• Drive the consolidation of the team to three primary locations in India.
• Work the global heads of FIT to plan resourcing and capacity for pipeline.
• Oversee all FIT hiring in India, ensure a smooth partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
• Maintain a close collegial relationship with the wider GCC heads and local senior management.
• Take responsibility for India FIT operational reporting to wider team heads.
• Produce timely KPI reports and metrics to monitor and show progress from automation initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvement techniques to improve the process efficiency and team productivity.
• Partner with the automation / AI team to drive through and rollout new initiatives.
• Utilise market-leading technology and continually develop system requirements to meet regulatory needs, strengthen controls, drive efficiencies and improve the client experience.
• Ensure processes are clearly documented, including 4-eyes review, that enforce a clear audit trail tracking sign-off and handover to operations.
• Liaising with multiple stake holders in the organization and ensure the tight deadlines are met. delivery and quality of work.
• Manage work allocation among the team and ensure back up and BCP plans are in place.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for the centralised model, including key operating procedures, inter-group service agreements, process flows, governance artefacts and control evidence.
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing team.
