About the Role
Priyagold Biscuits is looking to hire an experienced Head – Exports to build, lead, and scale our international FMCG business.
This is a senior leadership role with complete ownership of export markets, distributor development, modern retail relationships, country-level team building, logistics planning, and market-specific product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the international business and export strategy for FMCG products.
- Develop and expand export markets across GCC, Africa, UK, Iran, and USA.
- Leverage a strong existing network of FMCG distributors and importers in target regions.
- Build and manage relationships with key modern trade retailers, supermarket chains, and wholesale networks.
- Travel extensively to target countries to establish on-ground presence and business relationships.
- Build a country-wise sales organization, including hiring local teams and defining a clear sales hierarchy.
- Own export sales, revenue, margins, and receivables across markets.
- Lead business development initiatives and identify new growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop country-specific products, pack sizes, formulations, and pricing.
- Manage export logistics, including selection of ports, freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping routes.
- Ensure compliance with international food regulations, certifications, and export documentation.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs and exhibitions.
Required Experience & Background
- 10–18 years of experience in FMCG exports / international business.
- Mandatory experience in food, biscuits, snacks, or packaged foods.
- Strong distributor network across GCC, Africa, UK, Iran, and USA.
- Established relationships with top retail outlets and supermarket chains in international markets.
- Proven experience in building country-level sales teams and distributor-led FMCG businesses.
- Hands‑on knowledge of export logistics, ports, shipping lines, and transporters.
