Job summary

Amor Management Consultants is seeking a senior calibration and EMS/ECU leader in India with 14+ years of experience. You will drive calibration strategy, engine platform development across diesel and alternative fuels, and system integration for regulatory compliance.

The role requires proficiency in CAN/J1939/UDS/OBD-II/IUPR, SW release, and supplier governance, with a focus on delivering field-ready solutions and product improvements.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience in automotive calibration and EMS/ECU development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical or related engineering field.
• Extensive experience with Diesel/CNG/LNG/H2 engine platforms and calibration.
• Knowledge of CAN/J1939/UDS/OBD-II/IUPR compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with SW release processes and supplier governance.

Responsibilities

• Role covers controls & calibration strategy for EMS/ECU architecture and vehicle integration, managing full lifecycle.
• Engine Platform Development for Diesel/CNG/LNG/H2, focusing on performance, fuel efficiency, emissions, and drivability.
• System integration and SW release, compliance with SRS, OBD-II & IUPR.
• Product issues analysis and resolution for NPIs and field issues, DTC analysis and improvements.
• Technical development calibration tools, data analysis, validation and field issue resolution.
• Leadership & governance including supplier management and team development.

Role & responsibilities

• Controls & Calibration Strategy EMS/ECU architecture, calibration & vehicle integration, managing complete lifecycle

• Engine Platform Development Diesel/CNG/LNG/H2 performance, Fuel Efficiency, emissions, drivability and performance

• System & Regulatory System integration, SW integration/release, SRS document, OBD-II & IUPR calibration and compliance

• Product issues analysis and resolution for NPI and Field issues, DTC analysis and identification of product improvements

• Technical Development Calibration tools, data analysis, validation & field issue resolution

• Leadership & Governance Supplier management, technical governance & team development
