Job description
Role & responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with senior government officials including Collectors, Ministers, Commissioners, IDA authorities, and elected representatives across Odisha State.
  • Drive policy influence initiatives and champion organizational interests in regulatory forums that impact manufacturing operations.
  • Create comprehensive mapping of key influencers across government, regulatory, community, and industry ecosystem. Execute periodic engagement reviews to assess relationship quality and identify potential challenges or opportunities.
  • Orchestrate rapid response mechanisms during operational disruptions or regulatory issues while acting as authorized company spokesperson.
  • Monitor evolving legislative landscape and regulatory amendments impacting steel/heavy industries sector. Drive preemptive compliance strategies for environmental permissions and statutory requirements within Odisha jurisdiction.
  • Facilitate seamless interaction with revenue departments for property acquisition, documentation processes, and conflict resolution. Engage with Survey Settlement authorities and VROs to expedite land-related statutory clearances and approvals.
  • Deliver strategic briefings to C-suite leadership on political climate, policy shifts, and stakeholder dynamics.
