Job summary

CHIREC International School in Hyderabad is seeking a qualified Gymnastics Coach to train students across age groups while promoting fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship. You will plan age-appropriate sessions, ensure student safety, and prepare athletes for inter-school and CBSE events.

The role requires a diploma/certification in gymnastics or PE, with 2–5 years of coaching experience. Applicants should be able to work with school teams and support event organization.

Qualifications

• Certified gymnastics/PE diploma or degree is required or preferred.
• Coaching certification is advantageous for the role in school sport programs.
• Experience coaching gymnastic activities with children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured gymnastics training sessions for students across different age groups.
• Teach floor exercises, balance, flexibility and strength training.
• Ensure safety standards are followed during practice and competitions.
• Identify and nurture talented students for competitive gymnastics.
• Prepare students for inter-house, inter-school, district, state and CBSE competitions.
• Maintain discipline and encourage teamwork, confidence and sportsmanship.
• Assist in organizing school sports events, annual sports days and demonstrations.
• Maintain gymnastics equipment and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with Physical Education teachers and school management.
• Keep attendance, performance records and progress reports.

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiasticGymnastics Coach to train students in artistic and basic gymnastics whilepromoting physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship. The coach will beresponsible for planning age-appropriate training sessions, ensuring studentsafety, and preparing students for inter-school and CBSE-level competitions.

What you will be doing

• Conduct structured gymnastics training sessions for students across different age groups


• Teach fundamental and advanced gymnastics skills including floor exercises, balance, flexibility, and strength training


• Ensure safety standards are strictly followed during practice sessions and competitions


• Identify and nurture talented students for competitive gymnastics


• Prepare students for inter-house, inter-school, district, state, and CBSE competitions


• Maintain discipline and encourage teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship


• Assist in organizing school sports events, annual sports days, and demonstrations


• Maintain gymnastics equipment and report any safety or maintenance issues


• Coordinate with Physical Education teachers and school management
