Job summary

BlitzenX Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned GW PolicyCenter Configuration specialist to lead configuration development across PolicyCenter modules and multiple Lines of Business. You will drive design, data modeling, and rule authoring using GOSU, PCF, and the policy transactions workflow.

You will mentor a team of developers, coordinate onsite/offshore efforts, and deliver robust configuration solutions with strong estimations, documentation, and quality control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of GW PolicyCenter configuration experience.
• Experience with full SDLC and Agile development in GW implementations.
• Hands-on GW implementation proficiency across PolicyCenter modules and LOBs.
• Strong understanding of PolicyCenter data model and configuration components.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead a configuration team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of GW configuration developers to deliver quality configurations on time.
• Assist onsite/offshore teams with estimations, proofs of concept, and design of robust configuration solutions.
• Prepare detailed design documentation (field mapping, data model, rules) to support configuration development.
• Configure/build GW configuration components using GOSU, PCF, Wizards, and workflow.
• Collaborate with external consultants and developers to deliver multi-project solutions.

• 5 + Years oof GW PolicyCenter Configuration
• Experience with full SDLC and appreciation for Iterative (Agile) development lifecycle as used in GW implementations
• Hands on GW Implementation Proficiency and Experience in GW Configuration Development - Expertise configuring and developing several areas of PolicyCenter – Policy Transactions/Job Configuration, Experience implementing multiple LOBs, Product Modelling, Quoting, Rating Management, Reinsurance Management, Forms Management, Policy Revisioning, UW Authority, Account Management, Contacts, Locations, User Management, Producer Management and PolicyCenter Administration
• Robust understanding of PolicyCenter Data-Model
• Experience in GW Configuration Development (Expertise in GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow, Activity and Product Model development)
• Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools
• Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat
• Experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB
• Leadership – Assertive, Sharp with ability to inspire, bring out the best in individuals and develop a strong configuration team to deliver quality configurations

• Assist onsite configuration team in estimations, Proof of concepts, definition, designs of robust and efficient configuration solutions.
• Prepare/Enhance Detailed Design Documentation (Field Mapping, Data Model definitions, Rules Definition etc) as needed to support Configuration development.
• Assist Onsite/Offshore teams – and in certain cases be responsible - in solutioning of complex configuration by developing and demonstrating solutions using Proof of Concepts
• Configure/Build/Develop PolicyCenter Configuration in accordance to the design documentation
• Configure/Build/Develop GW Configuration components (Using GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow, Activity and Product Model development etc.)
• Identify and develop reusable framework, configuration components to be used as is on multiple projects
• Unit and Functional Test developed Configuration Solutions using GUnit, Mockito – Automated and Manual.
• Prepare Build and Implementation plans for configuration work stream and report configuration work stream status
• Lead and manage team of developers and be responsible for team velocity in delivering configuration user stories on time
• Work with external consultants & developers
• Train and build a team of experienced professionals
