Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Technology Consulting to lead Guidewire implementation and prototype development projects for clients worldwide. You will act as a technical leader, mentor teams, and collaborate with onsite coordinators to ensure timely delivery and high quality outputs.

Ideal candidates have 8–14 years of experience in Guidewire, strong Java/SQL skills, and proven leadership and client-facing abilities.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA and MBA with 8–14 years of experience.
• Hands-on Guidewire configuration across PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter.
• Experience with Guidewire integration and Guidewire Digital.
• Insurance domain knowledge in Personal/Commercial Lines.
• Strong Java stack: Java 8+, JEE, XML, Web Services, SQL, ANT.
• Proficient in PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and Enterprise Messaging.
• Experience on Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic.
• Excellent business communication, leadership, client-facing and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Guidewire implementation projects as Technical Manager.
• Collaborate with onsite coordinators and client stakeholders.
• Plan and monitor project deliverables with the team.
• Mentor project resources and ensure quality delivery.
• Provide regular status reports to Program Managers and stakeholders.
• Interface with customers as needed to drive alignment.

Job Purpose

Manager in the Technology Consulting team to lead various Guidewire implementation / Prototype development projects for our customers across the globe.

Your Client Responsibilities

• Need to work as a Manager (Technical leader) to contribute in various streams of Guidewire implementation projects.
• Interface, collaborate and communicate with the onsite coordinators
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects
• Regular status reporting to the Program Managers and onsite coordinators
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed

Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)

• BE/BTech/MCA & MBA with a sound industry experience of 8-14 Yrs
• Highly experienced and hands-on in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and/or Guidewire Integration and/or Guidewire Digital.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in either Personal Lines products like Personal Auto, Property, Homeowners, Personal Umbrella, etc. OR Commercial Lines products like Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Workers Compensation, Farm, Commercial Umbrella, Farm Umbrella, Business Owners, etc.
• Java 8+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT
• Strong in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System
• Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, on Insurance applications
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
