ValueMomentum, Inc. is seeking an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst to join our team in the P&C insurance domain.

The candidate will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development and testing teams. The role requires hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst in P&C domain.
• Excellent ability to translate requirements into functional specs and acceptance criteria.
• Proficient in writing user stories and Gherkin-based acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional requirements for development and testing teams.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and facilitate discussions.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria using Gherkin language.
• Work on projects delivered using Agile methodologies.
• Support UAT and coordinate with stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Apply knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter to BA activities.
• Work with APIs and microservices as needed.
• Independently manage assigned activities with minimal guidance.

About The Job

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst with strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter and the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development and testing teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional requirements for development and testing teams.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and facilitate discussions.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria using Gherkin language.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to validate business requirements.
• Apply knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter to support business analysis activities.
• Work with APIs, application development concepts, and microservices as required.
• Independently manage assigned activities with minimal guidance from leads or managers.
• Apply strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of overall experience, with relevant experience as a Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the P&C insurance domain.
• Hands‑on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Experience working on projects using Agile methodologies.
• Experience interacting with business and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Proficiency in writing user stories and Gherkin-based acceptance criteria.
• Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of APIs, application development, and microservices.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good To Have

• Guidewire Analyst certification.
