Qualifications

Role Overview

We need an exceptionally talented Sourcer Recruiter to help us find the best talent in the US market to support our growth. Key Requirements

The candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation in a high volume environment and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. They will need to demonstrate an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.

Core Responsibilities

• Recruit passive candidates with the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation" rather than sell a role
• Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
• Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
• Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company
• Implement new processes and fine-tune standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer
• Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process

Sourcing and Candidate Engagement

• Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites
• Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit
• Filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen

Screening and Evaluation

• Conduct on-phone and virtual candidate screening process to assess qualification and skill alignment
• Use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub and other sourcing tools

Must-Have Skills

• Boolean and Advanced Search
• Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards

Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent

• Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields
• Articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate
• Build strategies and brainstorm to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders

Good to Have

• Market Intelligence: Understand the talent market to source the right talent from targeted organizations

Location & Timing

Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Gurgaon (Remote role). It is a 6month contractual role. Timing: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM IST

A day in the life

1. 1. Proven ability and sharp on the feet to proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/ Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites.
2. 2. Experience in conducting candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit, with ability to filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen.

About the team

The role holder will be a part of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, which is a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) team. We scout bar raising talent spanning across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET and India, to enable and scale cost-efficient sourcing solutions in Tech, Non-Tech and High volume space.

Basic Qualifications

• - 1+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
• - Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
• - Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
• - Ability to curate market intel for saturated markets

• - Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring
