Role Purpose
Haleon India's e-commerce business is a priority growth lever, and the Growth Analytics Manager is the person who turns our platform and market data into decisions. The role owns the business intelligence layer for DCommerce: platform-level dashboards, city-level reporting and daily market share tracking across marketplaces, quick commerce and e-pharma for all brands. This is not a reporting/ data analytics role. The Growth Analytics Manager defines what we measure, makes sure the numbers can be trusted, and tells the business what to do next.
What Will The Person Own
- Platform dashboards : one consistent, decision-ready dashboard view per platform (offtake units, MRP value, NSV, share, availability, pricing), with brand, subcategory, SKU and NPI cuts built in.
- City-level reporting : city and cluster views of QCom and marketplace performance, so we can see where we are winning or losing, not just how we are doing nationally ; and actionability on pincodes/ RPI with strongly correlated inputs of promos and visibility
- Daily market share view : brand and subcategory share, built from platform & external analytics, tracked daily with clear trend and exception flags.
- Metric definitions and data trust: the single set of KPI definitions for DCom (including multipack and virtual combo treatment, and platform-specific quirks such as Amazon Core, Fresh and Now), and sign-off on every dashboard before it reaches leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Intelligence
- Design, platform dashboards in Power BI (or equivalent) on top of the clean data layer provided by the Data Analyst; own the business logic, visuals and usability.
- Build the analytics reporting module within the existing DCom dashboard: platform views, NPI tracking shown separately from base business, multipack and combo views.
- Maintain a dashboard release and QC checklist so that numbers reconcile across offtake, MRP, NSV and platform-reported views.
2. City-Level & Market Share Intelligence
- Build city-level views of share, offtake, availability and pricing, using the city and pincode mapping on external data.
- Identify under-indexed cities and clusters by brand and platform, and convert them into specific actions (assortment, availability, visibility, activation).
- Track daily share movements at brand and subcategory level; flag material shifts, competitor moves and root causes within the same week.
3. Insight to Action
- Run weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reviews: what happened, why, and what we should do about it, with owners and follow-up on actions.
- Deliver brand and platform deep dives that lead to a decision (for example share erosion in a subcategory, OOS impact on a hero SKU, or a pricing gap versus competition).
- Partner with Digital Shelf to bring shopper research into the business narrative, so reviews combine the numbers with the shopper reasons behind them.
4. Promo, Pricing & Growth Analytics
- Own promo effectiveness analytics for e-commerce: uplift, ROI and cannibalisation by platform and brand.
- Manage the promo planning file and its platform-wise splits, so one master plan is adapted and shared correctly with each platform.
5. Planning & Strategy Support
- Support the annual and quarterly planning cycle with baselines, scenario models and growth lever sizing by brand, platform and city tier.
- Contribute to channel mix and competitor benchmarking so strategy is anchored on external facts as well as our own data.
Skillsets Must have
- 3-6 years in business analysis, e-commerce analytics, category management or BI, ideally in FMCG or consumer health.
- Strong Power BI (or Tableau) skills: you have built dashboards end to end, including data modelling and DAX or equivalent, not just consumed them.
- Advanced Excel (Power Query, complex modelling) and working SQL; Python is a plus.
- Sound understanding of Indian e-commerce and quick commerce: how offtake, share, availability and pricing behave across platforms.
- A structured storytelling habit: you move from what happened, to why, to what we should do, and you can defe
