Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Gurugram is seeking a Group Operations Lead for Revenue Recognition. You will oversee the global revenue recognition process, lead a 35+ person team, and ensure timely, accurate deal recognition in line with ASC 606. The role requires strong leadership and deep accounting knowledge.

You will collaborate with cross-functional groups, mentor staff, and drive improvements in processes and KPIs while maintaining compliance and quality across transactions.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification with 7–10 years of revenue-recognition experience.
• Experience with ASC 606 and revenue processing software.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Group Operations Lead - Revenue Recognition

What this job involves:

• Responsible for the functioning of global transaction revenue recognition process.
• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of staff of 35+ people.
• Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
• Drive efficiency in the team by keeping a rigorous watch on team and individual’s productivity.
• Provide strong leadership to reporting line and manage expectations within the team (performance, compensation and promotion).
• Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of deals approved or denied for revenue recognition.
• High level internal liaising regarding escalated matters as appropriate.
• Ability to research accounting literature and other Big 4 interpretive guides.
• Proactively seek out additional responsibilities or ways to more effectively contribute to the group, including working independently on special projects and utilizing specialized knowledge of systems and procedures to enhance individual, group or departmental productivity, aid in problem solving/issue resolution, best practice documentation, and process improvement.
• Act as a mentor and providing training and guidance when required to team members.
• Ensure the agreed internal and external KPIs are met.

Sound like you?

• Prior experience with revenue recognition or work with ASC 606.
• Ability to understand and utilize specific revenue processing software to maximize efficiencies in deal processing.
• Effective working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
• Demonstrates professional leadership skills through effective work habits, attitude, inter-personal skills, initiative and follow-through.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple and changing tasks.
• Must be a CA / CPA.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• 8-10 years of supervisory experience.
