Job summary

WorldEmp is seeking an experienced finance professional to own end-to-end financial administration and rolling cash-flow forecasting for group entities. You will enable real-time leadership decisions with direct access to stakeholders and European reporting exposure.

Role focuses on reconciliations, month-end closing, VAT handling, and strong ERP/Excel proficiency to drive liquidity and internal controls across multi-entity ledgers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accountancy or finance & control.
• 6+ years professional experience in accounting, control or reporting.
• Hands-on bookkeeping including AP/AR and bank activity.
• Month-end closing and management reporting experience.
• Rolling 13-week cash-flow forecasting experience.
• VAT return preparation experience including intra-Community deals.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day financial administration for client and group entities.
• Post and reconcile invoices, bank transactions and GL journals.
• Perform balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Maintain liquidity overview and rolling 13-week forecast.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and collect overdue balances.
• Ensure timely and complete financial documentation across entities.
• Keep ledgers, trial balances and reconciliations up-to-date.
• Ensure intercompany balances are current and reconciled.
• Proactively identify liquidity risks and respond with actions.

Job description

You will own end-to-end financial administration, reporting, reconciliations, and rolling cash flow forecasting for group entities. You enable real-time decisions for leadership across group companies through direct stakeholder access and European reporting exposure.

MUST-HAVE

• Bachelor in Accountancy or Finance & Control.
• 6+ years professional experience, including 4+ in accounting/control/reporting.
• Hands-on bookkeeping: AP/AR credit control, bank, general ledger, reconciliations.
• Month-end closing and management reporting; balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Rolling 13-week cash-flow forecasting and short-term liquidity monitoring.
• VAT return preparation experience, including intra-Community transactions.
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP software and advanced Excel (Pivot, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).

Role & Responsibilities:

Maintain the day-to-day financial administration for your client and assigned group entities.

• Post and reconcile purchase invoices, sales invoices, bank transactions, payment provider transactions and general ledger journals.
• Perform regular balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate unresolved or unusual items.
• Maintain an up-to-date overview of all bank balances and short-term liquidity.
• Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast and update it based on actual developments.
• Monitor accounts receivable ageing and identify overdue customer balances.
• Own the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the financial administration and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date ledgers, trial balances and balance-sheet reconciliations for all assigned group entities.
• Ensure bank balances, accounts receivable, accounts payable and intercompany positions are continuously up to date and fully reconciled.
• Prepare and maintain rolling cash-flow forecasts and proactively identify potential liquidity risks.
• Monitor overdue receivables and actively coordinate follow-up with relevant internal stakeholders and customers.

OWNERSHIP & DECISION SPACE

• Approve posting of routine journal entries and reconciliations within assigned thresholds and guidelines
• Select and apply appropriate work programs and templates for compilation files in line with standards
• Request financial data and clarifications directly from clients to complete files
• Propose adjustments, reclassifications, and process optimizations for accountant review
